COPD Oxygen Therapy

Trial Objective

COPD Oxygen TherapyThe purpose of this study is to evaluate changes in the activity levels of COPD patients who use a portable oxygen concentrator (POC) combined with long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT), compared to people who use LTOT alone for their oxygen needs. The study will also evaluate overall oxygen use, quality of life and changes in the participant’s medical condition.

Who Can Participate

Adults 40 years or older who have been diagnosed with COPD, qualify for continuous long-term oxygen therapy and who have NOT used a portable oxygen concentrator (POC).

Age: 40+    Gender: Any Gender

Estimated Time Commitment

2 clinic visits and 2 phone calls over 12 weeks, as well as daily completion of a diary to track use of oxygen therapy
