Auxora’s Effect on Severe COVID-19

Trial Objective

Auxora’s Effect on Severe COVID-19Researchers want to know if the experimental drug Auxora™ can be used as a safe and effective treatment for patients diagnosed with severe COVID-19 with pneumonia. Participants in the study will either be given Auxora or a placebo, a pill containing no medication, to understand effects of the medication. The medication or placebo will be given once a day for three days to patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19.

Who Can Participate

People who are admitted to Saint Joseph Hospital with a positive COVID-19 test result and who have symptoms of the coronavirus may be eligible to participate in the study.

Age: 18+    Gender: Any Gender

Estimated Time Commitment

Up to 30 days

Including the time a participant is hospitalized and up to two follow-up phone calls after being discharged from the hospital.
