Center for Health Promotion

Who We Are

National Jewish Health is the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. Founded in 1899 as a nonprofit hospital, National Jewish Health today is the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to groundbreaking medical research and treatment of patients with respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders. Patients and families come to National Jewish Health from around the world to receive cutting-edge, comprehensive, coordinated care.

The Center for Health Promotion (CHP) is a group of National Jewish Health psychologists, physicians, family scientists, behavioral epidemiologists, clinicians and researchers dedicated to helping people adopt healthy behaviors to improve their lives.

Through research and community partnerships, CHP is committed to encouraging people to adopt healthy behaviors for healthy living.

We conduct clinical trials to help people eat more wisely, exercise regularly, stop smoking, and get the best sleep they can. We also have several trials designed to help patients with a chronic health condition stick with their treatment plan.
