This conference is sponsored by the Nursing Department at National Jewish Health, which is the only medical and research center in the United States devoted entirely to respiratory, allergic, and immune system diseases, including asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, severe allergies, AIDS, cancer, and autoimmune diseases such as lupus. Founded in 1899, National Jewish Health is a non-profit, non-sectarian institution dedicated to enhancing prevention, treatment, and cures through research and to developing and providing innovative clinical programs for treating patients regardless of age, religion, race, or ability to pay.
Registered Nurses: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 12724, for 7.0 contact hours. Respiratory Therapists: This program has been approved for a maximum of 5.81 contact hours of Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care. Course Number 146872000. Physician Assistants: This program has been reviewed and is approved for a maximum of 9.75 AAPA Category 1 CME credits by the PA Review Panel. PAs should claim only those hours actually spent participating in the CME activity. The total hours possible to receive for this program is 5.25.
