Vendor Compliance Information

Vendor Compliance Requirements

National Jewish Health (NJH) is committed to establishing and observing high standards of ethical conduct in business and operational practices.  As members of NJH's working community, we depend on one another to help us, as a team, meet the high standards of honesty, integrity, and diligence that we expect of ourselves and that our patients and their families expect of us.  This website is a resource for our contractors and vendors to ensure that you are aware of the compliance obligations related to your work and services performed with and for NJH. We value you as members of our community and hold you to the same high standards of ethics and compliance as our employees and other staff members. Please make sure you are familiar with each of the documents posted here.  If you have questions about them or about your responsibility to comply with them, please contact the NJH Compliance Office at 303.398.1466 or toll-free at 877.CALL.NJH (877.225.5654) ext 1466.

As recipients of federal health care program funds, including Medicare and Medicaid, National Jewish Health is required by law to provide employees, affiliates, contractors and vendors information regarding the federal and state False Claims Acts, which are intended to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in the federal health care programs.  The institution depends on each member of the community to do the right thing and to raise questions as they come up. Ethical conduct and compliance is everyone's job, and each of us can make a difference.

Compliance Helpline

Through the Compliance Helpline, employees, affiliates, contractors, and vendors who do business with NJH can report potentially criminal activities or violations of NJH policy. Calls to the Helpline are handled in confidence and are not recorded.  The Helpline administrator will document the information reported during the call, and that information will be forwarded to the compliance officer. After reviewing the report, the compliance officer will initiate an investigation to determine if corrective action is required.  The Helpline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, toll-free at 877-CALL NJH (877-225-5654) ext. 2727.
