National Jewish Health Adds Renowned Infectious Disease Physician Dr. David Griffith to Faculty

DENVER — David GriffithDavid Griffith, MD, has joined the faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Mycobacterial & Respiratory Infections, bringing more than 40 years of experience to the institution. Most recently, he served as the Chief of the Pulmonary Infectious Disease Section at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, TX. Dr. Griffith will see Nontuberculosis Mycobacterial (NTM) and other infectious disease patients on the National Jewish Health main campus. Additionally, he will participate in clinical research surrounding NTM.
   

Dr. Griffith received his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and completed residencies at University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and Baylor College of Medicine. Additionally, he completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at University of Oregon. Dr. Griffith has authored more than 200 research publications, reviews, editorials and book chapters over his career.
