Cardiologist Dr. Christopher Dyke Joins National Jewish Health

DENVER, CO — Christopher Dyke, MD, FACC, joined the renowned faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Cardiology and Department of Medicine. He comes to National Jewish Health from the Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute where he served as the Cardiovascular MRI Director and the Alaska representative on the American College of Cardiology Board of Governors. Dr. Dyke specializes in advanced cardiac imaging. His other clinical interests include prevention and management of coronary artery disease, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, as well as diseases of the heart muscle, heart valves, and heart rhythm. Dr. Dyke sees patients at the National Jewish Health main campus and at Saint Joseph Hospital. He also serves as the Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging at Saint Joseph Hospital.
 

Dr. Dyke received his medical degree and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, and completed fellowship programs in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center and cardiovascular MRI at the National Institutes of Health. He currently chairs the Clinical Practice Committee for the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and serves as consulting faculty for Duke University Medical Center and University of Washington.  Additionally, Dr. Dyke has authored numerous peer reviewed journal articles and wrote numerous book chapters.
