Chris Carmosino of Citizens Bank Honored at New York Financial Industries Dinner

Event Raised Nearly $655,000 for National Jewish Health, the #1 Respiratory Hospital in the Nation

NEW YORK — Leaders in the New York Financial Industries gathered on Thursday, March 1, 2018, to honor Chris Carmosino, executive vice president and head of business capital at Citizens Bank. At the 41^st annual dinner, more than 600 attendees helped raise nearly $655,000 to benefit National Jewish Health. 
 

Carmosino was presented with the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award for more than 32 years of distinguished service in the commercial finance industry. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant civic and charitable contributions and are leaders in their communities and industries.

“I’m very grateful to be recognized by the Trustees of National Jewish Health, a group for whom I have so much professional and personal respect,” Carmosino said. “The fact that I’ve known most of the key leadership for much of my career makes this recognition even more special and important to me. It is an honor to represent our industry and National Jewish Health.”

The dinner is one of the most prestigious philanthropic events for New York’s financial industries and raises funds to support the research and treatment of respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases at National Jewish Health.

The dinner’s honorary chair was Barry L. Bobrow, managing director and head of loan sales & syndications for Wells Fargo Capital Finance. He was also last year’s honoree. Patrick L. Bickers, managing director-head of origination at Citizens Business Capital, was the dinner chair. Brian M. Tammaro, senior vice president of origination at Citizens Business Capital, was the dinner treasurer. J. Patrick Moody, senior vice president of origination at Citizens Business Capital, was the assistant treasurer.

Albert Spada, 2016 Financial Industries Dinner honoree, was inducted into the National Jewish Health Council of National Trustees. The council comprises more than 200 community and business leaders across the country who work to raise awareness and support for National Jewish Health.
