Pulmonologist and Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist Dr. Patricia George Joins National Jewish Health

, has joined the world-class pulmonary faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She comes to National Jewish Health from the University of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine where she served as an assistant professor of medicine. In her patient practice, Dr. George specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. Her expertise adds to the growing National Jewish Health pulmonary hypertension program. Dr. George will see patients at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.
Dr. George received her medical degree and served as a resident at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed residency training at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine before joining the faculty. Dr. George has authored nearly 30 research publications and has presented at numerous symposia. In addition to her clinical and research interests, she is the President and Co-founder of “Team PHenomenal Hope,” anon-profit organization that empowers endurance athletes to use their sport as a platform to raise awareness about pulmonary hypertension and funds to find a cure.
