Luncheon Raises Funds for Nation’s #1 Respiratory Hospital, National Jewish Health

National Jewish Health, the number one respiratory hospital in the nation, will honor Bob Gurwitz and Julian Gold, LLC, at the San Antonio Humanitarian Luncheon on April 9. Luncheon Chairs Barbara and Alan Dreeben are among those who will gather at the Marriott RiverCenter in San Antonio to thank Gurwitz for his years of generosity that have helped changed the face of the San Antonio community and the lives of its citizens.

Bob Gurwitz is a well-known Texas philanthropist and long-time National Jewish Health supporter who created a culture of charity within Julian Gold, LLC, and its employees. Gurwitz will accept the 2013 National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award on behalf of himself and Julian Gold, LLC.

Texas residents have traveled to National Jewish Health in Denver nearly 4,000 times over the last three years for treatment of their respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders. Sixty Texas physicians completed their fellowship training at the institution in specialties including asthma and allergy.
