JULY 14, 2014
DENVER, CO —
National Jewish Health has been named the #2 respiratory hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report
in its 2014-15 ranking of leading hospitals in the nation. National Jewish Health has ranked #1 or #2 in the US News pulmonology rankings in all 18 years that the magazine has evaluated pulmonology care. National Jewish Health and University of Colorado Hospital have been ranked together since 2011.
“We are proud of our longstanding recognition by U.S. News & World Report for excellence in pulmonary care,” said Michael Salem, MD, President and CEO of National Jewish Health. “This measure, combined with other factors, including research grants and impact, leadership in the national medical community, and patient satisfaction surveys convince us that National Jewish Health is indeed the nation’s leading medical center for respiratory care.”
The U.S. News rankings are based on a combination of factors, including selection by pulmonologists across the nation, patient volume, safety and survival, as well as technology and patient services.
