Your health is important, and that means taking care of your existing health care issues. Please note that as we schedule appointments, including necessary procedures, we’re taking every precaution possible to ensure it’s safe to see your doctor. The National Jewish Health Main Campus offers many amenities to help make each person's visit more comfortable and convenient. People who have questions or concerns about their visit can take advantage of our Patient Representative Program. A Patient Representative is available to assist patients and families with special concerns that are not resolved by members of the patient's care team. Parking & Directions

National Jewish Health is located on the southwest corner of Colfax Avenue & Colorado Boulevard. Free valet, handicap, patient & visitor parking is available at our main entrance off of Colfax. No parking is available for oversized vehicles such as RVs on our campus.

Due to City construction, the entrance to our campus has moved to 14th Avenue. Some campus parking lots are closed for construction of our new Center for Outpatient Health. Patients are encouraged to use, enhanced, free valet parking, located at the main entrance. View Parking Map


Valet parking is available for patients and visitors free of charge. Valet parking is available 24/7.

Patients, visitors, and employees are welcome to dine here and enjoy daily specials and sweet desserts. Please note, the cafeteria does not serve dinner. (Located on the first floor of the May Building in the Perlmutter Dining Center.)

The cafeteria hours are:

  • Breakfast - 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
  • Mid-Morning Snack - 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Lunch - 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Afternoon Snack - 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Coffee Cart  (serving specialty coffees) - 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Coin-operated vending machines are located throughout the hospital. A microwave oven is available in the cafeteria, and may be used free of charge.


Gift Shop

Everything you need for any occasion is right here and at the right price at Nan and Dollie's Gift Shop! And, you can feel good about shopping because all proceeds are used to purchase clinical and research equipment for National Jewish Health. (Located in the May Building next to the cafeteria.) The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday. You can reach the pharmacy staff for any questions you may have regarding your medications or prescription charges by calling 303.398.1582 or visiting the pharmacy located (Located in the Main Lobby). Learn more about the pharmacy.



National Jewish Health maintains a 24-hour security system. A security guard is on the premises at all times and is readily available, responding to all calls and assisting with any security problems you may have. If you have a problem or question concerning security, please inform your nurse who will contact the security guard. You may speak with the security guard privately.

All hospital building access is controlled by an electronic security system. Closed circuit TV cameras on patient entrance doors are used in the evenings for your security. A security escort is available as needed. Please contact 303.398.1776 with any questions/concerns. Security guards will also escort patients and families to parking on campus, when requested.
