Ovid/MEDLINE Databses

Ovid Databases (contact the Library to get your password):

 

  • A valid NJC password gives access to the entire MEDLINE file, all EBM Reviews, Journals@Ovid, HealthSTAR, Allied and Complementary Medicine, and Health and Psychosocial Instruments.
  • A valid HSC password gives access to the entire MEDLINE file, all EBM Reviews, CINAHL, Eric, Health and Psychosocial Instruments, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, Journals@Ovid, and PsycINFO.
  • For database information while searching on the Web, click on the image; when searching with Telnet, read the information box to the right on the Database Selection screen.

  • For additional search help, see the OVID Search Tips produced by the Gerald Tucker Memorial Medical Library.
  • The Library staff offers one hour searching classes.
  • The Library staff also offers one-on-one training. Call x1342 or email us.
  • We are also happy to do your literature searches for you--at no cost and usually the same day. You can fill out a Reference Request Form at the front desk, phone x1342, or email your search request.
