Testing Policies

All requests for testing must be submitted in writing on an appropriate National Jewish Health requisition form. A verbal request must be immediately followed by a completed Requisition Form.

Additional testing can be performed if an adequate specimen has been provided. Any request for additional testing, or test cancellation, must be made by the submitting client in writing within 30 days.

No charge will be made for a cancelled test if we are notified before the test has been set up. Tests that have been set up or completed cannot be cancelled and will be billed accordingly.

We will be glad to perform repeat testing in certain instances. Contact Client Services for information about doing so.

We are pleased to discuss any special testing needs that you may have. Our unique research and clinical setting, as well as respected laboratory staff, give us the flexibility to customize projects to your protocols and provide you with the assurance of reliable testing.

Each of the Directors is readily available as a consultant for planning and interpretation of any studies within their areas. To discuss any specific test requirements please contact them or one of the Administrative Directors.
