Smoking Cessation Program
Quitting smoking is challenging but with the right tools, you can successfully quit. If you are looking to give up smoking or tobacco use, the Division of Psychosocial Medicine has options available to you.
If you are a patient, you can work one-on-one with a therapist to assist you to quit smoking. You will learn about the nature of addiction, develop important tools to quit, and get assistance with cessation medications.
If you are not a patient, you can join the BreakFree smoking cessation program. This is a group program in which you can learn to quit with the support and encouragement from other smokers. For the cost of the program ($220), you receive five group therapy sessions led by an addictions specialist, a box of nicotine replacement therapy of your choice, and monthly follow-up meetings for a year.
