Sinusitis Treatment Programs

Sinusitis is an inflammation (swelling) of the mucous membranes that line the sinus cavities. Untreated and prolonged sinus inflammation can lead to infection and increased symptoms.

Healthcare providers at National Jewish Health have been evaluating, treating and researching sinusitis for many years. Scientists continue to evaluate treatment while investigating new therapies that are more effective and less costly. National Jewish Health fosters a collaborative approach to the management of nasal and sinus problems which includes experts in

  • rhinology (nasal and sinus disorders),
  • allergy and immunology,
  • pulmonary medicine, and
  • infectious disease.
