    Anticoagulation Clinic
The Anticoagulation Clinic at National Jewish Health follows patients who are taking anticoagulant medicines (blood thinners), which help prevent blood clots. If you are taking an anticoagulant, the amount of medicine in your blood should be monitored closely to assure you are getting enough medicine to prevent blood clots, yet not too much to cause bleeding. Regular visits to the Anticoagulation Clinic are important to monitor your blood levels closely. The Anticoagulation Team includes a doctor, nurse, pharmacist and lab members. Learn more.

    Cardiac Sarcoid Program
In patients with sarcoidosis, it is estimated that at least 20 percent of patients have some element of cardiac involvement. Exertional Dyspnea Program
Shortness of breath is often the result of dysfunction of the heart, lungs, or both. Our exertional dyspneaprogram uses a multidisciplinary approach using experts from multiple specialties and diagnostic modalities from our Institute for Advanced Biomedical Imaging to yield a precise diagnosis. Our specialty is in the diagnosis of diastolic dysfunction (abnormal heart relaxation), pulmonary hypertension, intracardiac shunt (at rest or exercise-induced), coronary disease and systolic heart failure.

    Integrated Secondary Pulmonary Hypertension Program
Secondary pulmonary hypertension often has a cardiac cause. Our cardiac experts can give your heart a thorough evaluation to assess heart function, valvular function, diastolic function, and other forms of cardiac dysfunction. Using a multidisciplinary approach from both a pulmonary and cardiac perspective yields an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan that gets results.
