Adult Section - Weinberg Clinical Research Unit

Several departments and divisions at National Jewish Health actively participate in industry-sponsored clinical research in the Adult Section of the Weinberg Clinical Research Unit. These departments and divisions focus on a variety of disease specialties, including allergy and immunology, cardiology, cystic fibrosis, environmental and occupational health, pulmonology, psychosocial medicine, rheumatology and sleep medicine.

Rohit Katial, MD, is Director of the Adult Section and has participated in numerous clinical research trials over the last 15 years including:

  • Early and late phase asthma trials
  • Rhinitis and Immunotherapy
  • Development of Biologics for asthma
  • Studies involving sinusitis

The Adult Section has a wide variety of studies available on an ongoing basis for individuals 18 years and older. Please regularly check our list of current trials open for recruitment, as new studies become available frequently.
