Primary care physicians, general internists, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, home care workers, and other allied health care professionals.

Following the workshop, learners will be able to provide GOLD guideline concordant COPD care for:

  • diagnosing and assessing patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • managing stable COPD of all severity levels
  • managing acute exacerbations of COPD
  • providing support and education for patients and families to engage in self-care activities to optimize quality of life
