Kelly Dresser, M.A. 7th/8th grade teacher

When Kelly first met our principal, John Reid, she knew that Morgridge Academy was the school for her.  Kelly was attracted to the small classes, the setup of our school and the mission to help students grow under the guidance of a special team.

Kelly is originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan and came to Colorado after teaching English in Prague.  Kelly studied French at Michigan State University ("Allez les verts!") and then studied Education for her Master's Degree at University of Michigan. Her background is in teaching high school French.

During her first year at Morgridge Academy, the biggest thing Kelly learned was to be flexible in order to adjust to the wide array of student needs.  She has learned a lot about making individual lesson plans in order to meet the needs of each student.

When Kelly is not with her amazing students, she likes to travel, snowboard, golf and read. She also likes to be with friends and enjoys cooking.

We are glad Kelly joined our team this year and are excited to see what new things she will do in her classroom in the years to come.
