Kat wanted to become a teacher because she loves to learn and teach. She believes that being able to combine those two things is great.  Kat graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theater and a Bachelors of Science Degree in psychology.  She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Special Education at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Kat has been at Morgridge Academy since 2008.  Before coming here, she taught at Tennyson Center for three years.  Her favorite things to teach are science and social studies because she loves to do lots of hands on activities.
