Wally Lederer, MA

Wally raised trout for ten years on an estate in Evergreen, Colorado before dedicating all his time and energy into the Morgridge Academy school community.  He thought that he could make a difference in a child's life by sharing what he has learned working with kids who have chronic illnesses.

Wally went to St. Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota and earned a B.A in Sociology. He then went back to school after 33 years to get his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix to show students the importance of life-long learning, and that if you put your mind to something you can accomplish anything you deem important.

Wally has been at National Jewish Health since 1983 and has held every position in the school except the Director of Education and the Nurse. He believes that kids rule and that he will never grow up.
