Mary knew that she wanted to be a teacher when she was in first grade. She says she is happiest when in the classroom, no matter which side of the desk she occupies. Watching kids blossom and shine onstage is one of her greatest joys.
Mary has been at National Jewish Health since 1985. Before coming to Denver, she taught in grades 2 - 6 at a Catholic school in Illinois for 5 years. In addition, she has taught pantomime in recreational park district programs and given music lessons. Mary has a Bachelors degree in education from Central Methodist in Fayette, MO.
