Preparing for Your Tests
Your doctor has recommended your child have certain tests as part of their evaluation at National Jewish Health. The most frequently ordered test is Allergy Testing. The testing is usually done on the back and is relatively painless. Try to avoid lotions, oils, and creams on the back for this test. All oral antihistamines will need to be stopped prior to testing as they can affect the results. Check with your child’s doctor before you stop any medicines.

Have your child continue to take all other medicines as he/she usually does.
