Break Free: A Specialized Smoking Cessation Program

Have you tried to quit tobacco repeatedly? Are you frustrated and discouraged? Research shows
that the more quit attempts you’ve previously had, the more likely you are to successfully quit in the future. So, don’t stop quitting! The Break Free program will teach you the latest quitting tools, which combined with positive support, can help you to quit for good.

Four reasons why this program could help you quit for good

1. Help from Experts: The right kind of help gives you a cutting-edge advantage. The Break Free Program is facilitated by Dr. Heather LaChance, an addictions specialist from the Harvard University Program in Addictions.

2. Assessment: Participants receive an assessment of their smoking patterns and level of addiction. From this assessment, we help you develop a Quit Plan designed to work for you.

3. Five Sessions: Research shows the more sessions of counseling people receive, the more likely they are to quit for good! Five sessions with a specialist would normally cost more than $500. This program is half the cost at $220 or about the cost of a few cartons of cigarettes.

4. Groups: Groups of people quitting together have been shown to be more effective than quitting alone. In fact, getting support from others can increase your quit rate as much as 50 percent!
