Gertrude Zehner's Story

Gertrude Zehner suffers from asthma and is proud to support an organization that has been named the #1 respiratory hospital in the nation by U.S News and World Report. The National Jewish Health Lung Line^® has given her excellent advice on prevention, treatment and medication. Lung Line is a free service staffed by registered nurses who provide information about lung, allergic and immune diseases via phone or email.

"I chose to fund my first charitable gift annuity with National Jewish Health in 1994. Since then, I funded a few more because they are great vehicles to assist me financially in my later years. They afford me a fixed income, a good tax deduction and at the same time, I am connected with a reputable institution." Mrs. Zehner also has included National Jewish Health in her will. "I believe in supporting research that can help future generations," she said.
