Helen L. Rider's Story

In Helen Rider's family, supporting charity was a given. They gave to National Jewish Health regularly when a neighbor lady would come by their Pittsburgh home. Mrs. Rider continued giving for years. A National Jewish Health fundraiser suggested that she consider a gift from which she would get an income. This idea appealed to her because she was widowed and wanted to build up retirement income. Mrs. Rider has completed 12 annuities ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 and relies on the income from them. More importantly, she said, "I love that National Jewish Health will be using these funds in the future to improve the lives of those who suffer with respiratory problems."
