Letter from Mitchel Goldberg
I am writing to you... to express my sincere appreciation for all you have done for me.
There was not a single individual from the first call I made; to finding a way to get me in during a previously planned week in Denver; to the moment I arrived at National Jewish Health. From 8 a.m. Tuesday June 2 to conclusion of my exams a few moments ago (12:10), I have been treated with the greatest amount of respect; kindness, and friendliness by every one I saw.
I cannot begin to tell you what the smiles, humor, and attention to my needs from the admin desk; to "the concierge" in the check in area; to every department (lots) I had to go to complete the evaluation and diagnosis of my problem meant to me. Dr. Don Rollins was beyond imagination from the first visit to my last consult - what a "mench" of a man!
As an observer of people and one who studied credibility and witnesses for the past 20 years, I saw that same gentle considerate treatment to everyone who I saw enter the patient-professional area. Timeliness in appointments was beyond belief as well! Please thank all who work at National Jewish Health for the attitude of gratitude that makes the thousands of patients find comfort in scary times.
All of you touched my heart at National Jewish Health; I will never forget it!
