Gertrude Zehner's Story
Gertrude Zehner suffers from asthma and is proud to support an organization that has been named the #1 respiratory hospital in the nation by U.S News and World Report. The National Jewish Health Lung LineĀ® has given her excellent advice on prevention, treatment and medication. Lung Line is a free service staffed by registered nurses who provide information about lung, allergic and immune diseases via phone or e-mail.
"I chose to fund my first charitable gift annuity with National Jewish Health in 1994. Since then, I funded a few more because they are great vehicles to assist me financially in my later years. They afford me a fixed income, a good tax deduction and at the same time, I am connected with a reputable institution." Mrs. Zehner also has included National Jewish Health in her will. "I believe in supporting research that can help future generations," she said.
