17th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting The Fund to Cure Asthma
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT!
On behalf of everyone at National Jewish Health and our Tournament Co-Chairs Robert Helpern and Stephen Siegel; and our Chairman Emeritus Samuel Lewis, thank you for your generous support. We could not excel without friends like you. The day was a success with more than 100 golfers and nearly $245,000 was raised to benefit The Fund to Cure Asthma founded by Nancy and James Berry Hill and Marjorie and Stephen Raphael in 1994 to secure resources for basic and clinical research related to understanding, treating and eventually conquering this widespread, debilitating and often fatal disease.
Asthma affects more than 34 million Americans, nearly 9.6 million of whom are children, making asthma the most common chronic childhood illness.
Our mission since 1899 is to heal, to discover, and to educate as a preeminent health care institution. We serve by providing the best integrated and innovative care for patients and their families; by understanding and finding cures for the diseases we research; and by educating and training the next generation of health care professionals to be leaders in medicine and science.
