Allergens are things that bother airways in the lungs. Sometimes allergens can make noses runny and eyes itchy. Not all children with asthma have allergies. Children can also have different allergies. Furry animals, pollens from trees, grasses and molds, dust mites, cockroaches and foods are allergens. You should stay away from things you are allergic to.
