The Asthma Wizard
Chapter 17: Do You Know What Happens When You Smoke? - Page 3

Smoke is an irritant. That means it can irritate the airways in your lungs and make it hard to breathe. It can make your eyes itchy, red and dry. It can also make your nose itchy and sore. You may also get sick more often. If you are around someone who is smoking, the smoke from their cigarette can also do these things to you. Try to stay away from people who are smoking.
