Grilled Corn on the Cob with Lime and Chile

Try this recipe with a new and flavorful twist on corn for those tired of the same old buttered cob.  

 

Ingredients
  • Fresh ears of corn, husk and silk removed
  • Butter or vegetable oil spray
  • Fresh limes
  • Chile powder or paprika (optional)
  • Salt

Directions
  1. In a large pot (to hold the amount of corn you want to cook) of water over high heat, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add husked corn ears and boil corn 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  3. Remove corn from boiling water. Coat with butter or vegetable oil spray.
  4. Preheat barbecue grill.
  5. Place cooked corn on hot grill.
  6. Cook only until grill marks form and the corn is reheated.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Squeeze lime over corn and sprinkle with chile powder or paprika.
  9. Salt to taste and serve.
