Mastocytosis: Symptoms

Mastocytosis, a disease involving the immune system that causes an excess of mast cells in the body, can lead to symptoms of:

• Musculoskeletal pain

• Abdominal discomfort

• Nausea and vomiting

• Ulcers

• Diarrhea

• Skin lesions

• Episodes of hypotension (very low blood pressure)

• Anaphylaxis (shock)
