Nearly 90 percent of all lung nodules are discovered incidentally and may not cause any symptoms. Usually they are seen on chest X-rays or CT scans that are performed for other reasons. As the lung nodule gets larger, it may cause symptoms.
Signs and symptoms of lung cancer are few, but may include those similar to a chest cold or a mild flu.
