Addressing the needs of your female patients. This conference will focus on recent advances in women's health. It will provide a review of pertinent topics in treating your female patients and offer a better understanding of health matters important to the female patient population.

  1. Advantages and pitfalls of cardiac testing for ischemia in women. Presentation and evaluation of ischemic heart disease in woman.
  2. Recent advances in the management of osteoporosis and bone health.
  3. Dysmenorrhea, menstrual irregularities and contraception in adolescent girls.
  4. The effect of obesity and diabetes and it's specific impact on woman's health.
  5. Lung cancer treatment and clinical consequences experienced in a primary care practice.

National Jewish Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This program is approved for 4.0 Nursing Contact Hours. Participant attendance throughout the entire conference is required to receive contact hours.

ACPENational Jewish Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This knowledge-based CPE activity is approved for 3.25 CPE Contact Hours. To claim credit for courses 0831-9999-11-001-L01-P or 0831-9999-11-001-L01-T a participant must attend the entire conference, complete a post-test and submit an evaluation.
