Why did you want to become a teacher?
Well, because I was an only child and loved little kids, I wanted to teach.
What is it like to work at Kunsberg?
It's so small, and you get to know all the students instead of just your own, and you get to know the families.
Where did you go to school and when?
I got my undergraduate degree at LSU in 1976, and I got my Masters Degree in 1981.
How did you find Kunsberg?
I moved here in the summer of 2006 and was looking for a teaching job. I was reading the paper and saw an ad for Kunsberg and went ahead and called.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to read, scrapbook and go out to eat with friends.
What is your favorite teaching story?
In Louisiana when I was teaching kindergarten, I had a little girl in my class who was non-verbal. Trying to see if she was actually learning was very interesting.
What is your education and work history?
I've taught kindergarten, special education, juveniles, but my favorite would have to be teaching little kids to read.
