Pediatric Social Work Internship

Interested social work students should be first year MSW students. The internship includes working as part of a multidisciplianry team to address the needs of children and adolescents with chronic illnesses who are participating in the Pediatric Day Program. Interns also participate in assessments and therapy with children, adolescents and families without chronic illness.

The intern will have the opportunity to be part of psychosocial assessments, individual and family therapy and various group sessions. Internships are from Sept-May and interviews are typically held the end of May or beginning of June.
