Hi. My name is Cristina Colmenero. I am a Bilingual Asthma
Coordinator for the DPS Asthma Program. I have lived in Colorado since
I was 5 years old, born in Torreon, Coahuila Mexico. I worked for the
School Based Clinics of Denver for the last 6 years as a Health Care
Tech. Some of my many roles in the schools have been administering
medications, working with families to obtain insurance, assisting as a
school nurse health aide, and now working with getting our DPS Asthma
Program rolling for the North West and North East Quadrants. I am a
great resource person and enjoy working with kids and families in our
communities. I have 3 children, 2 boys & one girl. Jorge is in 8th
grade, Gabriel is in Kinder and Cielo is the youngest, a 22 month old
girl. I look forward to working with you.

I am a Denver native. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I
graduated from George Washington High School in 2000 and received my
Associates of General Studies in December 2007 from Community College
of Denver. I am planning to transfer to a four-year college and major
in Behavioral Sciences. I am an extremely enthusiastic person who loves
working with children and youth. I have volunteered my time at St.
Dominic Parish for nine years as a youth coordinator, catechist, and
adult educator. My laughter is very contagious.
