Helping Employers and Employees with Respiratory Protection

With the release of the 2008 Appropriations Bill lifting the ban on annual fit testing for occupational exposure to tuberculosis, never before have there been so many questions concerning worker safety and respiratory protection. Companies are continually updating their written respiratory protection programs to bring their organizations into regulatory compliance. As new hazards arise and additional safety regulations are implemented, it has become increasingly difficult to keep employees protected in the workplace.

National Jewish Health is Here to Help

Our Personal Respiratory Protection Program helps protect workers from potentially harmful air contaminants. The program is designed to help safeguard workers’ health and to enable employers to cost-effectively meet federal regulations. WE CAN COME TO YOU! All of our services are available on-site at your facility to minimize employee scheduling conflicts and to optimize your organization’s productivity.

The Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at National Jewish Health has provided expert respiratory protection consultation for over 15 years. We focus on both industrial and healthcare environments. Our program consists of a multi-disciplinary team of certified respirator technicians, industrial hygienists, and board-certified occupational medicine and pulmonary medicine physicians.
