Change Behavior. Change Health.

The Center for Health Promotion (CHP) is a group of National Jewish Health psychologists, physicians, family scientists, behavioral epidemiologists, clinicians and researchers dedicated to helping people adopt healthy behaviors to improve their lives.
Through research and community partnerships, CHP is committed to encouraging people to adopt healthy behaviors for healthy living.
We conduct clinical trials to help people eat more wisely, exercise regularly, stop smoking, and get the best sleep they can. We also have several trials designed to help patients with a chronic health condition stick with their treatment plan.
According to the New England Journal of Medicine, unhealthy behavioral patterns account for 40 percent of premature deaths.
The impact of behavior on health has been documented – and CHP’s work saves lives.
