Richard A. Schierburg

Mr. Schierburg joined the National Jewish Health Board in 2004, and was appointed Chair of the Board in January 2012. He has also served as chair of the institution’s Development Board, and as a member of the Executive, facilities and real estate committees. Mr. Schierburg is also board chair of Archdiocesan Housing, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.

Mr. Schierburg, a veteran developer and investment broker, has founded several companies, including most recently Peregrine Group Development LLC, a land development, retail and multi-family development firm. He began his career as an investment broker at CB Richard Ellis. Mr. Schierburg earned a bachelor’s degree from Seattle University, and attended both Stanford University and University of Colorado Master of Business Administration programs. Mr. Schierburg and his wife, Linda, have two grown children.
