Joe Silversmith is the owner of Silversmith Agency Inc. (also known
as BCJ Company Inc.), a property and casualty insurance business.
He had previously been affiliated with J.H. Silversmith Inc.,
Hanover Insurance Company, Romed Inc., Gold Inc, Professional Insurance
Management Company, BankWestern, and Western Capital Investment Company.
Mr. Silversmith has served on the Board for Lloyd’s of London, Teton
National Insurance Company, Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital
Foundation, University of Denver and Rocky Mountain Child Health
Service Inc.
Mr. Silversmith’s grandfather, Aaron Friedman, was a National Jewish
Health Board Member from 1934-1941. His father, Joseph Silversmith,
Sr., was a Board member and National Jewish Health Board President from
1953-1954. His nephew, Don Silversmith, is a current Board member.
Mr. Silversmith and his wife, Billie, have two daughters.
