Clinical & Research Interests

Dr. Sutherland is a clinician and clinical investigator with interests in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. His research focuses on identifying new treatments for patients with these disorders, as well as on identifying factors that modify disease risk and prognosis. Dr. Sutherland is an investigator in the NIH-sponsored AsthmaNet and directs the Felt Laboratory for Asthma Research at National Jewish Health.
