Research Interests

My laboratory is focused on the interactions between the mind and body. We are interested in understanding more about how individuals achieve and maintain health. Research focuses on the relationship between stress, behavior and the immune system, especially with respect to inflammatory illnesses. We currently have an intervention study for children with asthma, who also are overweight.
