50 Years of Honorees Remembered at Annual
Los Angeles Professional Services Celebration
Event Raises Funds for Nation's #1 Respiratory Hospital
At the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Los Angeles Professional Services, benefiting National Jewish Health, 150 guests raised nearly $115,000 while toasting the many past honorees. The tribute, at The Mark for Events on June 23, featured hors d'oeuvres and cocktails with entertainment by physician-turned-comedian Dr. Matt Iseman. His father, Michael Iseman, MD, world-renowned tuberculosis and mycobacterial expert at National Jewish Health, also spoke to guests.
Top sponsors for the event were Ezra Brutzkus Gubner LLP and Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Other sponsors included BDO Seidman LLP, Buchalter Nemer, CIT Commercial Services, Crowe Horwath LLP, PNC Business Credit, Skechers, Stonefield Josephson Inc., Union Bank and 45 other businesses and individuals.
Robert Ezra, Senior Principal at Ezra Brutzkus Gubner LLP, former honoree and longtime National Jewish Health Trustee, noted some of the more famous past honorees, including Randolph Hearst, Sanford Sigoloff, Ronald Reagan, Otis Chandler, and Tom May, the event's first honoree. Past honorees for the National Jewish Health benefit who attended this year's event included Vicky Balmot, Mitchell Cohen, Ronald Friedman, Tom Higgins, Rob Greenspan, Jeffrey Kapor, Issy Kotton, Ron Jones, Robert Lewin, Fred Lionetti, Jay Mangel and Benjamin Seigel.
