Gift Offers Lasting Legacy of Support for National Jewish

Some of the most heartwarming gifts received by National Jewish are the final gifts entrusted to us by a donor in a will.  Elfriede Grevendick has supported National Jewish for many years after getting involved with a special event in Boca Raton, Florida, which she has now run for five years.

Ms. Grevendick had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Lynn Taussig, the former President and CEO of National Jewish, and some of our amazing doctors and staff members, at events held in Florida . The more she learned, the more impressed she became. She likes the fact that we serve children, and that we help those who can’t afford care.

Ms. Grevendick gives to National Jewish because she feels “it is necessary to support a hospital that provides a critical service to so many people.” In addition to her regular contributions, Ms. Grevendick was also looking for a way to leave a lasting legacy with National Jewish.

As a result, she has been kind enough to designate a large part of her estate to National Jewish in her will. We are thankful for donors like Ms. Grevendick whose gift will help the many thousands of people suffering from respiratory, immune and related diseases.
