Fredericka Cukjati, M.A., has been at National Jewish Health as the library media specialist, literacy teacher and tutor since 1980, working with students of all grade levels. Before coming here she taught and worked in libraries from primary through college and university levels.

Laurie Warren, M.A., has been our School Counselor since 2005.  She attended Western State University to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and her Elementary Teaching Certification.  She taught 4th grade and kindergarten for several years.  In 2005 she received her Master's Degree in School Counseling.  She is our School Counselor and has been at Kunsberg since 2005.

Sue Carrington, M.A. , graduated from Adam's State with a Degree in Special Education. She is currently our 7th and 8th grade teacher.

Mary Lou Ray, M.A., is the kindergarten and first grade teacher and has worked at Kunsberg School since 2006. She holds a teaching certificate, and a Master’s Degree from the Louisiana State University in Special Education.

Michelle  Freas  is currently Coordinator of Medical and Health Services at Kunsberg School. She has worked at Kunsberg since 1992 and at National Jewish Health since 1984. She was a pediatric nurse and worked on LUNG LINE here at National Jewish Health.

Jim Gianvito, M.A.,  has worked as a physical education instructor at the Kunsberg School since 1985. He earned a Master’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Prior to coming to National Jewish Health, he held the position of Adult Program Director at the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association from 1982-1985.

Karen Musselman is one of our School Nurses and has been at Kunsberg since 1997.  Previously, she worked in Pediatrics at Denver Health Medical Center and was a school nurse in Adams County.  She received her R.N. from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Sioux City, Iowa, and her B.S.N. from Mesa College in Grand Junction, CO.

Jennifer Kangley has a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Special Education both from the University of Kansas. Before coming to Kunsberg, she was a supervisor at a summer camp and a teacher in Aurora. She has been at Kunsberg since 1999.

Wally Lederer, M.A.,   has worked at NJC for 21 years. The past 12 have been spent at Kunsberg. He has his master’s degree in education and has taken on the responsibility of classroom teacher.   

Mary Morrissey has been the fine arts teacher since December 1999. She has been at Kunsberg since September of 1985. Prior to becoming the fine arts teacher, Mary worked in a variety of classroom settings grades 1-12, and as an assistant with testing. Before Kunsberg, she taught in a parochial school in Illinois.

John Reid , Director, has his Master's Degree in School Administration from the University of Arkansas and has been in the educational field for over 30 years as a teacher and an administrator. He is originally from Arkansas. He has been with Kunsberg since 2005.

Lorrie Schroeck, M.A., has a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. She is the 2nd and 3rd grade teacher and has been at Kunsberg since 1995.

Mary E. Zukowski has been at Kunsberg since 2001. In 1989 she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University, and in 1992 she earned a post-baccalaureate teaching certification from the University of New Mexico. In 1995, she got a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico. Mary worked at elementary schools in New Mexico from 1993-2000.

Heather Pardo received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.  She has her Master’s Degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Diego. Prior to Kunsberg, she worked in residential treatment facilities.  She is our Child Advocate and has been at Kunsberg since 2005.

Amy Schouten is one of our School Nurses and has been with Kunsberg since 2005.  Previously, she was a school nurse for Cherry Creek School District.  She has been an R.N. since 1994, graduating from the University of Colorado.  She has also worked in adult orthopedics and Internal medicine clinics.
