National Jewish Health^® provides services for ClearWay Minnesota for the operation of the QUITPLAN Helpline. Operations for this statewide service began in September 2009. National Jewish is responsible for all operational activities for the call center, including receiving and processing all intake calls transferred from the Ceridian Triage Center; performing a series of up to five cessation coaching sessions; provision of NRT for qualified callers; developing and selecting educational material in support of the needs for the targeted communities, as well as for sub-groups within these populations such as pregnant callers and teens; and providing information for program evaluation and outcomes reporting. The contract for the QUITPLAN Helpline includes a high-level interface with the Ceridian database to be able to accept data fields sent by Ceridian into our case management system, and once the Coaching is performed, the transfer of pertinent data back to the Ceridian database.
