Michigan QuitLineNational Jewish Health® is the contracted partner with the Michigan Department of Community Health, Michigan Tobacco Control Program for the operation of the Michigan Tobacco QuitLine. Operations for this statewide service begin in October 2011 with a transfer of service from their previous vendor. National Jewish Health is contractually responsible for all operational activities for the call center, including receiving and processing all intake calls; performing a series of up to five cessation Counseling sessions; developing and selecting educational material in support of the needs for the targeted communities, as well as for sub-groups within these populations such as pregnant callers and teens; provision of NRT for qualified callers (dependent on the budget,) and providing information for program evaluation and outcomes reporting.
